AI makes me faster, while research and Figma are where I find the insights and refine the experience.
Before I draw anything I go and sit next to the people doing the job. Years around banking back offices taught me that nobody describes their real day in a meeting, so I watch it. A workaround taped to a monitor often tells me more than a requirements document, and the question nobody asks anymore is usually the one that matters.
This is where my engineering degree pays off. I map objects, actions and rules like a system of equations and find the contradiction before it reaches a screen. If it does not balance, nobody opens Figma. It is what I am strongest at.
Engineering taught me to cut redundancy. Three tools for one job become one, and every element earns its place or leaves, even your favourite. It is my second strongest skill, and the engineer in me is the booster.
Only now Figma opens. Components first, screens second, all standing on the structure, so a founder can grow the product without redrawing it. I design the empty state, the error and the very long name before the happy path, because that is where products actually live.
Prototypes go to real people, old flow against new flow. At Biekos I learned to test before defending, and I would rather be wrong on a Tuesday prototype than on launch day. If five people stumble in the same place, it is not their fault, so I fix the screen and not the users.
I have been the one owning the backlog, so I hand over what I wanted to receive: documented components, a real design system, specs without guesswork. Then I measure. I stay for the first release, because a design is only finished when the developers stop asking questions and the numbers start moving.
7+ years across UX, product design, business analysis, product ownership and project management. I have worked on the business side, the user side and the build side, so I know what each one needs from a design.
Founders bring me a rough idea, I hand back a product people actually use.
Two and a half years designing financial products where one wrong label costs real money.
Amsterdam taught me to show my design to strangers before falling in love with it.
A year owning the backlog taught me that a quick change is never quick.
Eleven months in financial data and KPIs. That is where I learned what a number hides.
My first real job: meetings, reports, invoices. Not glamorous. I still use it daily.
Let’s be honest: I want to be the best in Product Design, and that means asking the questions nobody wants to answer.
Which part of design would you never hand to AI?
Pick one. You see what everyone else picked.

I studied engineering, then spent years in business analysis and product ownership, where budgets, users and developers pull in three directions. Designing is how I get them to pull the same way.
I bring engineering rigour to design thinking, so every decision starts from the user and holds up when someone questions it.Independent work keeps you curious. That is why I founded Origine Nomade, where digital professionals connect and work in nature. If you got this far, now you know why I made you design a base for digital nomads at the top of this page. ;)
